Has it only been 2 months and 10 days since I last posted?
This is not a joke. If you are a Facebook friend -- and if you read this, you probably are -- you will know that the last few months have been, as the French put it (at least around here) "un peu rock 'n' roll."
Speaking of rock music, in this first post of what I hope will be a NaBloPoMo month, I can only quote my beloved Elvis Costello:
"Oh I just don't know where to begin..."
I'm going to unofficially try, too.
ReplyDeleteThat's wonderful news! We can support each other. I'm definitely going to keep it simple, though.
ReplyDeleteHi Betty! Hi Meredith!
ReplyDeleteIf I can swing it I will do NaBloPoMo...but this year I actually signed up for NaNoWriMo, so I have 50,000 words to bust out! I got up an hour earlier than usual to get started, but here I am reading blogs. So...I'd better get my coffee and go to work!
Hi Betty, came across your blog maybe a few months ago, but I've found it again. I arrived in Rodez around 3 months ago, and I'm going to be staying here for the whole school year as part of the exchange program :) Had some difficulties with the whole speaking French thing but I can speak better now! :)
ReplyDelete@Alison -- That would really seem like old times!Would you still be at AliThinks!
ReplyDelete@Carisse -- Are you the girl who plays in the orchestra? I am going to give you a Facebook friend request so don't be surprised.
I toyed with the idea of doing NaBloPoMo, but have too much going on at the end of the month with my mom coming for a visit. I would only be able to do the first two weeks of November.
ReplyDeleteGood luck Betty! Have fun with it!
@Loulou -- My plan is to morph into more of a teaching blog, but I figure I need to get back in the game a little. Even the technical changes to Blogger are pretty major! I actually plan to tinker with the site a little every day -- the posts are secondary!
ReplyDelete@all -- Thank you for your comments! I was really amazed to get, well, 4 when I have been so inactive. This has boosted me to continue.
